10th Gen Road Trip

I figure that I would post pictures & MPG figures for my trip from WA state to New Mexico. I leave at 5am tomorrow morning. Here are the first pics with a clean car & ready to go with my new tinted front windshield with 50% on it & 35% on everything else.

MPG Update....

Here are my numbers for my MPG...

1st tank - Vancouver, WA to Burns, OR Computer 37.6..... Actual 35.1

2nd Tank - Burns, OR to Battle Mountain, NV Computer 38.2 ..... Actual 39.7

The computer was reading 42.2 mpg after the first 150 miles at 62 mph (100 kph)
After that I went into NV & the speed limit was 70 instead of 55. My speed increased from 62 mph to 75 mph & I had to turn on the A/C too. Still a great tank though for the speeds I was going. The last leg I was doing 80 mph on I-80. There was no wind that I could tell from flags along the way.

Wow that gas is expensive!!!
I like the camera set up My suction cup mount does everything except for recording from the windshield unless I want it upside down and I always wanted to go really fast in the middle of no where lol ....Isnt there that road "the Lonliest Road in America?"
