The XRS has independent rear suspension, not a torsion bar system. It is aligned very similarly to the front.

No it does not. It is the same as the 1.8L.

Some aftermarket companies have provided "shims" to adjust the rear on other rear torsion bar suspension setups from Toyota.

From Toyota though, there is no alignment adjustment for the rear.

(PS: Only the Matrix XRS and Matrix AWD have IRS).

The truth is it doesn't have independent rear suspension! It has the same torsion beam setup as the 1.8L models!

You can order aftermarket camper kit to do extra alignment if needed!

You must be talking about the front though, as the rear camber shouldn't change when dropping the vehicle.

I have a 2009 xrs and just replaced both rear tires 2 months ago. and they already sound like old winter tires. both are cuped on the inside. i had the alingnment checked and they are within toyota's spec. the dealer will not do anything about it. totally useless... neither will toyota canada. some people have mentioned shims. but the alignment shop wont touch it. any suggestions?
