I hope so....coz the stock KYBs are too soft, with the S tech I installed, I want something stiffer to hold up the car during bumps and uneven roads.
Tokico blues are softer than KYB struts so Illuminas would be a better option. I wonder how much the Bilstein ones would cost for our cars.
Personally I think the Tokico blues will be better than the stock KYB, they should be stiffer than the stock KYB that came with the car. I agreed the illuminas will be one of the best option, but I think I want the Bilstein the best, since the new Evo X is using Bilstein as stock struts too. They are not cheap though, I think I saw it on one of the website, it is about $200+ each on avg. For the money, it is basically like buying a set of megan coilovers.
1. koni yellows kick butt
2. just buy a set of 9th gen and see if the fit your 10th gen. i did something similar on my 2004 TL with Illumina's but the spring perches were completely different, so i just spent the $$ for Yellows.
i can offer up the 10th gen XRS front & rear spring perch and mounting (OEM dimensions), someone needs to measure 9th gen stuff, etc.

Bilstein sells a set of HD (heavy duty) struts for the 9th gen Corolla.
Try giving those a shot. Pricey, but that's the price you pay for quality.
