Fuel Computer LOCKUP

I have a 2009 Corolla with 20K 16 months old . After a long freeway drive I notice my fuel computer dispaly of Ave MPG locked on 39.9 and Ave MPH locked on 36. It has remained locked up for a couple of months. All the other functions( temp, mpg, range, etc) are OK.

Has anyone seem this problem???

I don't have this problem. Have you try re-setting it?

Thanks CABUR, The system resets itself when you top off the fuel tank, the range goes to about 400 miles but the averaging functions are still locked up.

Is there another way to RESET the averaging functions???

Thanks

The range resets but not the avg speed and avg mph. You have to press and hold to reset.

Agreed, Avg MPG is only reset manually, I would try resetting it and see if that fixes it, if not, I'd take a trip down to your local dealer.

as opther have said, one little push will cycle through them. When the selected display is your avg mpg just hold the button to reset.
