July 1st 11:05 p.m was the first day in my life that i ever gotten into a crash. My 3 week car that i bought on June 9th is totaled... im in cruthes because of a fractured foot. So this is how it happened. I was in the turning lane to turn left across the median. So i waited looked both ways saw a truck pass by and thought it was safe, so i scooted up a little and looked again and didnt see no one so i started to make the left and as i went bam that female dog hitted my baby and messd up my whole front passenger side bumper. Everything else is fine; no windows broken or anything. Besides the front passenger side. So thats my story

Sorry to hear, hopefully you will recover soon. From the sounds of it, she had a right of way. If you were making a left turn you have to yeld to all incoming or crossing traffic.
4 years ago I got into a collision going straight as a 16 year old girl decide it was safe to make a left turn and crashed right into my driver side. It said it was her fault since she had to yeld to on coming traffic. Her dad comes out of no where, was not even involved in the crash, and his defense was that I ran a red light. Well all evidence showed that I did not, and if I did I would of hit her, not the other way around. Well at least your insurance will get you into a new car.
yeah i got pictures ill post them up later. sorry been beat from the bruises. but yeah she did have the right of way from what the cops told me. Her headlights were broken so i didnt even see her at all and i looked.

i'm glad you ok..but heres my concern about the corolla..you weren't going that fast to begin with so why the big impact..comes to show the real quality of the corolla bumpers..
before i traded in my previous 07 sentra..sutten simular happened w/ the exception that i was driving at 30 mph and i turned, a doberman had gotten in my way and hit my bumper..it did not cause no impact what so ever..so it concerns the fact that the corolla bumpers are so delicate.
ah, her headlights were broken.... fault went from all you to a good chunk of her.
not necessarily tho...its like saying that u hit a car because they didnt use their turn signal so it must have been their fault because u didnt noe where they were going...it might put some her at some fault but in no way its going to put her more than 50% at fault..but then...sucks that it happen but thats wat insurance is for.

If she doesn't admit to her headlights being off you will have a hard time proving that. She did have the right of the way so most likely it will be your 100% your fault unless it was proven she had no headlights on. On the brighter side, it's good that you came out okay, those type of accidents usually end up looking pretty bad.
