USA Newbie looking to mod

Sup 10 Gen,

I own a 1.8L 09 Corolla S. I've had her 4 a year now and thought it was time 2 start adding some upgrades and mods. I all already have ideas in my mind: My thing is knowing if any of these modifications will void or mess with my warranty.... and if these sound like some great ideas..

I would go with trusted names for your upgrades but as far as your warranty it is only voided if damage is caused by the modification.

looks like clint answered your question already. Be sure to use the search feature when researching the mods too, not too many not covered on here somewhere.

in terms of modifcation, usually you get what you paid for. I wouldn't go for unknown brand, especially when well known brands are not that expensive. Performance chip will be your last thing to consider, it won't gives you nice gain if you don't have serious mods on a N/A machine, especially an economical corolla. Get yourself some nice exhaust, intake, suspension to start out. i have a 09 s as well with some mods, check out my car domain page.

ive seen someone with that muffler on a integra w/ the silencer and it kinda sounds like a commercial lawn mower.

This particular part claims to fit the 09 LE/S and XRS. They have two different engines, this alone warrants suspicion.

That just provest that they don't know jack about Corolla and should be avoided at all costs.

I would be wary of buying from any place called BlingLightsAuto.

my suggestion is that if you really want to mod your car then take a look at the parts list that was compiled in the sticky section. there are plenty of parts that people have bought and installed in their own car so you can see that those are legit parts.

as for your warranty. im pretty sure that it is already over for you unless you got the extended warranty so even if you mod the car, the warranty wouldnt cover it.

i would suggest you tackle suspension mods 1st, they'll make the car feel so much better to drive.......... and get a better set of tires.

yes sir. was wanting to release springs with full K brace at the same time, however, more work on the spring side needs to happen before 1,000 springs are made. a full K brace and strut bar are now available.
