I know this isn't too safe but I guess I had to test out to see how fast I could get my Corolla up to. So today was the day, only 115mph but it wasn't close to redline at all. Do we have a limiter on our cars?

There's a governor that cuts you off at like 140

Well when I hit 115 mph my car seems to lose power and kind of goes "blank" for a second.

there has been another thread of this exact topic, it's locked due to TN not wanting to associate themselves with speeding on public roads, but it's there.

Considering TRD is Toyota, it will never happen. Even if there was ever a chance, there certainly wouldn't be after these recalls.

Well I am aware that TRD is toyota. I do hope that some one comes out with a chip though. I know these cars are a lot more capable than 115 mph.

I believe Ken from TRDSparks has a 10th Gen with the unichip. Shoot them an email and ask!

It's known as skill.

Pretty simple, the road was flat & in the middle of nowhere in Nevada. I used the whole road, the car was solid just like I was doing 60 mph. I had the camera looped around my wrist while I held it and the wheel with both hands, a quick snap & it was done. Not really a big deal if the car is steady on a straight, smooth road.
