Installing aftermarket XM in 2010 Corolla LE

Hi. After listening to XM in my father in law's car i'm completely hooked (especially seeing that I'm tired of fm radio). I asked the dealership, $599. It may not be in the dashboard, but I can do better I hope. I'm looking to install it in the compartment below the radio (where the ashtray should go, if installed). Has anybody installed one there that fits with no problem and that would be hidden from view with the compartment door closed?

Still another question. Recommended radios?

Purchase the XM tuner and fit kit and install it yourself. Could not be any easier. It goes right in the trunk on the right side behind the carpet. Plug in 2 harnesses and use the supplies bolts to attach it to the side of the trunk. This works way better than an external unit.

Yep, done it in quite a few other cars as well, super easy 20 minute job. The radio ID is on a sticker on the unit itself, make sure you write it down before you install it.
