TSB re Steering Wander

Has anyone had the TSB performed to correct the steering wander that some drivers have reported? According to my wife, her 10 Corolla "feels weird" on the highway. I've driven it a few times and yes it is hard to keep in a straight line at highway speeds. Even with both hands on the wheel it wants to dart this way and that.

So, armed with a copy of the TSB I'm going to go by my dealer in the morning and see about having the TSB performed. I'll report on the result later.

There are already threads about this. Don't believe anyone has actually had it done. I know two of us are waiting on our dealers to get the parts in.

The wife's 10 Corolla went in for the subject TSB and was completed by the end of the day. Yes, the updated steering computer is available as my dealer made sure they had it in stock before they had me bring the car in. They also did the TSB prescribed check of the alignment.

We've only driven about 50 miles since the work was done but it seems to have made a VERY BIG improvement in the car's driveability. Now it steers true down the road with no more of the continual darting from side to side with every imperfection in the road.

If you are not satisfied with the way your Rolla steers, then I'd recommend that you have the prescribed TSB work performed.
