USA Adding compass

I just traded in my car with a compass to a 2010 Corolla which doesn't have one. I am lost w/o it -- literally! I would like to purchase a rear view mirror w/ a compass on it. Does anyone know what brand/model I should purchase? Best site? What do I need electronically? Thank you.

Sun rises in the east and sets in the west... viola, compas!

I've seen clip on compasses as either AdvanceAuto or Autozone, use the mirror you have and just stick that sucker on if you really need one.

I bought a small (about 2" dia.) suction cup style compass with a ball floating in fluid at O'Reillys for about $2.59 and I carry it in the glove box. Just plop it on the front window under the rear view mirror in a couple of seconds if you need a compass orientation. You could also just leave it in place all the time, but I think stowing it in the glove box untill you need it looks better. The compasses that go on the rear view mirror cost a lot more but to each his own.

For that money you could get a GPS unit with backup camera.

I just bought two Garmin 855 GPS Nav units with voice command for about $138 ea. from Amazon. It is the lowest price I have seen for an effective voice command unit (which is nice for solo trips). It has provisions for an optional rear view camera setup too. I did not look into the camera setup because I wasn't interested in that feature, but it is discussed in the owner's manual.

I used to have a compass since my first car, but 2 yrs ago I bought a GPS and...does it! The compass went to storage just in case of need.
