Coolant Top Off?

Quick question if I could. Just got back from the dealer for oil change, tire rotation. Noticed on my service record under all the checks it says Coolant, topped up, -45 etc. Just wondering should coolant need to be topped off on a new car? I never check it on a car this new. I will definitely be keeping an eye on it now. The temp gauge shows no changes. So is this normal, or something that should be investigated? Thanks so much.

its normal to top off any fluids that are alittle low. maybe you were on the low line and he topped it off for you.

They may have added a little to the overflow tank possibly.

I had the dealer add a little to my 2010 Civic.

I have found it best to check the level in the overflow when the engine is at temp, I make note of where the level sets, it will vary slightly between winter and summer.

It's normal, that being said that is also probably a standard input for the checks they do on cars, it may not even be specifically for your car (that I cannot verify of course though).
