Car stalls when I stop

Hello, I few weeks ago I took my corolla 09 for his 30,000 mile maintenance and after that I've notice that when I stop; the car goes down to 500rpm shakes like it's going to shut down and goes back to 1000 rpm. before no shakes nothing. I have 29xxx on it right now. any ideas? thanks

Here is a list of what they did:

Replace cabin air filter
Replace engine air filter
Replace engine oil and filter 1
Rotate tires
Tighten drive shaft bolt
Inspect the following:
Ball joints and dust covers
Brake lines and hoses
Brake linings/drums and brake pads/discs 4
Drive shaft boots
Engine coolant 3
Exhaust pipes and mountings
Front differential oil
Fuel lines and connections, fuel tank band and fuel tank vapor vent system hoses
Fuel tank cap gasket
Radiator and condenser
Steering gear box
Steering linkage and boots
Transmission fluid or oil

there were problems with the ecu when the corolla first came out (unless it was a different car) and needed an ecu reflash.
please correct me if im thinking of a different vehicle.

oh great! i think this is the 4th recall I do and now this thanks for the info dude.

I was monitoring my car on the way home and notice that the car idles at 500rpm in a red light sometimes at 700rpm (so it must go under that when I feel like the car is gonna shut down), before I just to doubt that the car was on (no shaking at all) and I think the niddle was at 1000rpm is it suppose to be at 1000rpm?. now I can notice a little shaking when I'm at a red light. thanks

My 09 with 48k miles does the same thing. It's never stalled on me, but can make take off a little fun (5 speed). Everyone I've talked to says its just one of those things.

If you find a solution I'd love to try it.

Have you checked for a vacuum leaks? That would be where I would start if it were me. As far as any ecu reflashes, if a Toyota dealer did the maintenance they would have done the reflash while you had it in for service, so I doubt that is the culprit.

Thats happened to me a couple times. I've had to literally kick the clutch back in before it died lol.

Canada Smilar Problem but with the AC running

I find I only really run into this problem with my XRS when the AC is running on 2, 3 or 4 setting.

Again, there is no difference on compressor load between fan speeds, it could be an amp draw issue however, especially if you have sub woofers, lights, accessories, etc.

its either the ECU or wiring harness, i had the same issue with my xrs, dealer checked with toyota and came up with these two things, it wasant the ecu tho, was the wiring harness, replaced under warranty and car's been running great after that.

I had the same issue with my old car (non-Toyota). An ECU reflash corrected it.

Thank you all, looks like back to the dealer since its under warranty. I'll check for vacuum leaks anyways maybe its something easy.
