Thermal wrap tends to make headers rust after a while. Plus, then he wouldn't be able to enjoy the visual bling that the stainless provides . Heat reflective tape could be be used on the intake, but since it's a CAI and not an SRI, the engine bay temps don't really affect it as it has a steady flow of air going through the pipe keep it cool. The only time reflective tape would come in handy would be if the engine was sat idling for a long time (such as in major traffic jams) as that's when heat-soak through the piping occurs. Please make a video of the engine sound with the headers, I would like to know how much of an increase of noise after the headers.
