Frustrating Ignition Problem
So for awhile now, my car has been experiencing an odd ignition problem that is growing. Don't know if any other members here have encountered this issue.
Most days, the car will start up just fine. However, there are odd times when it sounds like the ignition is "stuck" after the engine has already turned on. Lately, the sound/vibration (which can only be described as a grinding/loose flywheel/chain), has gotten more and more pronounced and longer in duration.
Its been back to the dealer for this problem twice already, and neither time could they diagnose the actual problem. They claim they couldn't replicate the issue this most recent trip, and I'm inclined to believe them since the issue seems to pop up randomly (and mainly on cold-starts it seems).
Should I be more concerned than I have been about this problem? I'm nearing the end of my warranty period and it seems the dealer really has no direction on what could be causing this.
