Offroading in my Corolla

So im with the buds driving for a taco run at 1 this morning and we pull out of my buddies driveway out in the country and get rolling. my friend just got back from fighting wild fires all summer and my other bud said "dont take the turns to fast and show off your car dude". i didnt listen. i hit a 25 mile an hour turn at 85 with 4 ppl in the car. I ended up flying off the side of the road. jumped off the raised turn a few feet from a powerline pole and 400 ft into the field sideways.

laughed it off bent my newly relocated plate and everything else was unnaffected.


Im alive and my car is in good shape!!!!

I'll leave the lecture for somebody else! Your car looks great in the pictures, hopefully it still does once you can see it again in the daylight. Hey, don't be surprised if every one of your friends all offer to drive next time!

my thoughts on this are i learned a lesson and i AM a complete idiot.

confusingly enough i was the only person in the car not intoxicated that being because i make stupid enough decisions without drinking so why throw that card into the mix.

well glad you are okay.....I had to re read what happened .....I had a scary incident yesterday when it was raining and the road dipped a bit at the intersection and I understeered for a bit and was a few feet away from the median but its nothing compared to what happened to you. I've been in my friends cars and they show off a bit and Im like "Im gonna die!"

honestly its a turn that with 2 people i can take fine at 75 cuz i nascar it being in the middle of nothing but it was just plain stupidity on my part. im actually amazed nothing happened. thank God.

it does make for a good story. haha

Yeah i told my girlfriend tonight and she was PISSED!

Daniel, I have but one thing to say..........

I'm happy that you are okay & nobody was hurt. AND that you learned a lesson, know your limits. I'm just glad you realize that alcohol would not be a good thing.
