using tc short throw shifter?

I have an 09 xrs 5sp
just bought it and already have a few parts, but im really looking for a short throw.

TRD quick shifter is a 35% reduction rate.

but our xrs's share the same engine as tC, 2AR-FE if I have been doing my research.

So I'm wondering if the transmission and their set up the same? if so if it is i'm going to use:

Please give me your input please!!

The 2ARFE is not the engine in the XRS- our car shares the same engine as the first (outgoing) tC, and previous Camry and RAV4 models.

Hello,
I have the TRD quick shifter on. All it basically seems to me like is a visual thing. All I had to do was unscrew the top of the shifter and oput the TRD one on. Cost about $44.00 Canadian.
Any comments?
Does it actually speed up my shifting?

Are you talking about a shift knob? Short shifter is another thing.

TRD xB 2nd-Gen Short Shifter is also used on the Matrix 2.4L and Corolla XRS.

Not sure if the 1st-Gen tC SS will work or not, it depends on the type of shifter it is.
