Well here it is! Finally!

For those of you who've been following my story!

So I changed things up a little bit.. (Bunch of Pics)
http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/sh...d.php?t=355459

What is this!?
What is this!?

Alright guys! Yall have been guessing if I got a 9th or 10th Gen Xrs! Survey says.....10thGen! Whoop Whoop!

Sorry to disappoint on not getting a 9thGen lol.

My parents and I found this Xrs at Champion Toyota in Houston, TX. Its definitely a upgrade has more features! I was lucky to find another white one! And yes its a 5-Spd manual transmission! Options are moonroof, JBL Sound System, Bluetooth Connectivity and such. The car had 27,405 at the time of purchase. It definitely has more go than the S even though the S had better fuel economy, but none the less, it still has great gas mileage!

I parted out most of the things I could from the S, but only things I snugged out was the WeatherTech floor mats, Toyota Sport Pedals, Sound Setup, and my rooftop spoiler! I was gonna get more the next day, but the insurance had already taken the car

I'm really thankful my parents got this for me!

Anyways, well here are the pictures!

Yes its certified!

Really want to put some TRD Springs to level out the car

Love the Xrs 17" Wheels!

2AZ-FE

Strut Bar

Engine Cover

The previous owner had changed out the stock bulbs!

Lows + Fogs

Lows + Highs

I tried to capture the color of the DRL's because I've seen people to try and make them have the white color, but never seen it happened. But I thought mine looked white! The picture doesn't do much justice though.

I plan to remove the pinstripes!

This time I have a Security System!

Really love the Optitron gauges!

Xrs Door Sills

JBL Sound System + 6 Disc Changer (don't know why the pic is still blurry, I tried using the macro function )

Bluetooth

Leather Shift Knob

I would've wanted a 9thGen, but the ones near my area had 1) Too many miles 2) Not the color I wanted 3) Price

Either way, I'm very happy with my choice!

I'm not sure at all about that, thats how my last Corolla was tinted

Would I just add a strip of tint to cover it?

I'm glad that I got another Corolla, especially white! I can just move some of the "transferable" mods from the old into the new!

We actually got the Xrs for about $17.1 Drive out, (it was KBB'd at about 14,xxx from what I remember, excluding tax title, and license) they were really over exaggerating on it being a Xrs. Every time we would try and haggle the price down, they would be like "The price was never up for a discussion. This is a Xrs, not just a S, a Xrs. There are only 3 in the city, and I have two of them and one of them is a manual" I was thinking in my head, I know its a Xrs, but its just a corolla just with a Camry engine... big whoop? I mean literally everybody was really exaggerating on it.

But they really are rare, I wonder how many were made in production??

Gah I don't know if i really do have a alarm! I sat in the car, all doors + windows closed. I locked the car. Both security lights went on (the one under the radio flashing and the one to the left of the steering wheel is just a solid red) and I opened the door and nothing happened?

I closed the door again and locked it. Lights turned on, so I tried to see if I can start the car w/ the "alarm" on, and the car started? So I'm really not sure what I have as in for a Security System or Alarm?

I love those rims BTW lol and was the 9th gen xrs a red one with 76k miles @$10k?

oh and I dont know why but some alarms dont really activiate until a minute later....my G35 buddy opens the door all the time when it "activates" (hit door actuator for his locks dont work, he always has to check) so try sitting in the car for a minute or so and then open the door and see if the alarm goes off.

oh and upgrade the horns

Was it the one in Houston?? Lol and I think it had a rear bumper protector? But I haven't seen that one since before I purchased my S which was in March

Nah it was in Austin and there were some really cheap ones in CT. Heck I'll drive to New England for that car

Supertones or FIAMMS or the stebel Nautilus
to me the supertones are just a louder version of what we have....I just want a manly sounding horn lol

oh and more of a comparison vs. our stock horn and the supertones

You have the Toyota VIP RS3200 Plus Alarm, which is the same one I have on mine (The security light is the same as mines). I had mine installed after my car was delivered, because the lady at Toyota forgot to include it on my options order sheet, so they allowed me to get it installed at the delivering dealer without charge.

Since it is the factory alarm, using the key to open your door rather than the remote won't trigger the alarm.
