Programmable features

Hey There,

I did some searching (could be just horrible at it ) but I saw a 2010 corolla S the other day that the guy locked his doors and his DRL's came on for a few seconds then turned off again. I know there are some features like how to program your car doors locks to come on at 5mph etc.. Is that a programmable feature also?

Thanks!

The drl's should not come on when you lock the doors, just the 4 way's. It may have been controlled by an aftermarket alarm this way. There is also no programmable way to lock your doors at a certain speed.

Actually that's wrong. I have a 5-Speed m/t Xrs, and I also did this on my S 5-Spd m/t. It's only for the m/t is if i'm not mistaken, the a/t should automatically lock your doors once you shift to drive and automatically unlock once you shift into park.

You can program your Corolla to automatically lock your doors once you hit 15mph I believe.

Yeah I saw it in the manual and it can be programed to lock when you hit ~13mph

That really sounds like an aftermarket or stock alarm....but I dont think they are the high beams(drl) it should be the low beams that turn on/off when you unlock/lock the doors. If that is it then you cannot program the car to do that

Thanks again!
