2ZR-FE mods whats worth the $$$

Hi all, brand new to this site and wanted to start with a basic question for those of you who are more knowledgable than myself. Heres what Ive got....2010 corolla S with the following mods already installed: Weapon R dragon SRI and crankcase breather, Borla ProXS custom cat-back exhaust, 6k hid's, 20% tint all around, TRD springs, 18/8 Kyowa wheels. Heres what Im after.....I know the S is never going to be a barn burner for speed, I just love modding cars, so Im after some improvement in stop light to stop light acceleration. Ive looked into things as simple as indexing the plugs, wrapping the headers and fuel lines, switching to synthetic oil, lightweight NST pulleys all the way up to adding headers, intake mainfolds, nos, and a turbo or retrofitted s/c. I want to start with the cheapest/simplest things first but want some input on what is worth my time/money. Again, I have no expectations of this ever being a 10 second car, I just want the most bang for my buck on top of the mods I have already done. Thanks for your advice

to TN.

It looks like you have a good start already on the mods. For better acceleration feel & response that get the Pivot 3-Drive Throttle Controller. Worth every penny of the $150 I paid for mine.

If you want better handling than look at adding TRD RSB & FSB. I've also added several Ultra Racing bars to my S & it handles great now.

thanks for the tip on the pivot 3. Months of searching and somehow I have never come across this???? Deffinately what Im after, ordered one last night and was able to snag it for 135 w shipping. Should do exactly what Im after, the car is quick (not fast but quick) as Im sure you all know once the rpm curve ramps up to 3750 its just the dreaded lag of getting from 1500 to 3750, if the pivot 3 can take care of a good deal of that by preloading the throttle then I should be set! I knew I joined this forum for a reason, thanks again!

It's a Singapore company. Try Altis. Corolla are named Altis there.

There are also several threads about the UR bars. Just do a search for "ultra racing."

Correct, Evan at nextgentuning.com confirmed that for me. Get the TRD FSB instead.

If I were UR, I'd make a LHD version too because there are other countries besides the US where the Altis is LHD.

That's what the TRD bar is for.
