They are both correct. It would not be worth it for this car. However, the diameter of tubing used for intake/header/exhaust do make a difference, just like the size of the engine makes a difference. To squeeze the most performance out of any car though you need to take special care to make sure you use the right size pipings. Bigger is not always better.
