almost every 5-7 days i am finding myself inflating air in my rear-passenger side tire. the light goes off every 5-7 days, and when i check the air pressure, it reads at 24-26PSI. I have been inflating back to 33-34PSI. what could be the cause for this? should i consider replacing the tire? or should i take it into toyota first? i have my 48k maintenance appointment this upcoming monday.

I would suggest filling all tires up with nitrogen and seeing if the problem goes away. You must have a leak somewhere for the tire to be leaking that fast.

Funny I have the same problem, my TPMS would come on ever week or 2 within the last few monthes.. Tires were almost bald needed one more rotation. So i got it done and got them to check everything.. No nail nothing... After the tire rotation it seems now it comes on every 3-4 days... Got it checked again no leak.. Not to sure what it is but I need new tires soon anyways so i'm just refilling the air until i find a cheap set of tires for these steelies. Hopefully its just the cheap stock tires that are causing this problem.
dish detergent + water @ valve, if that's not the problem live with the leak and fill it regularly until the tires are toast, or get it patched for likely 15-25$
Any time I'm losing air in a tire I go by the tire shop, it's a pretty simple thing that I thought everyone driving a car knew to do.
