My fiance, her mother, and my daughter were heading out of town this afternoon when a truck ran a stop sign and they t boned it at 55 MPH. Turns out the woman was intoxicated, had no license, no insurance, and stolen tags. Our insurance will be covering us, but I am sure a lawsuit will follow.

Not the greatest pictures, but the car is trashed. Looking at it in person I would not have guessed that everyone had walked away from it. The drivers side of the dash is actually pushed about 1" into the car, maybe a little more. All are fine, just bumps and bruises and a bit shook up.

On to the pics.

Notice that it was hit hard enough to actually push the body beyond the frame rails even at the B pillar! Crazy!

My baby. Thank you God, Toyota, and Safety 1st Air carseat for saving my little angels life!

I'm glad to hear that your family was all kept safe! Throw the book at the other driver who was an idiot and didn't deserve to be on the streets!

that's crazy, but exactly the reason I bought another Corolla after getting plowed on the highway while stopped in traffic. These cars are gold!! Hope you get a nice settlement for that! Hope everyone is ok!

DUI, + causing and accident that caused bodily harm + driving without ins/license...she should be put away

glad that everyone is still in pretty good shape considering the accident...gl with the lawsuit

DUI In the day??? Hope this lady gets whats comming to her.. Honestly what if it was worse.. I have no respect for people that DUI.

I'm so happy for you & your family that everyone is okay. The car can be replaced but your family can't. I can't imagine losing one of my daughters. I'm glad my 17 year old drives a Corolla.

How about replacing the 06 with a new 10th Gen?

He does, but I meant replacing the totaled 06 with another 10th Gen.

oh i thought the 2nd gen matrix was what replaced it, maybe thats a different person im thinking about.

The Matrix replaced the 06 for us, but we kept the 06 in the family and gave it to my fiances mom and dad. Looks like they want my 2010 S and I may buy a 2010 Tacoma double cab 4x4 longbed. We will see what happens.
