Reversed polarity in any late model Toyotas?

I am trying to swap the HIDs out of either my Matrix or my Corolla into my Rav4 and the ballasts are not even turning on. They work fine in either of the cars, but zero luck in the Rav. Anyone know if maybe it is just reversed polarity? I really don't want to try and fry something on a truck with 50 miles on it

you wont fry anything trying. there should be a diode that stops current in your ballast if you hook it up reverse. i know alot of old ddm kits came reversed and we always would hook them up wrong the first time. nothing happened to the car or hids.

yeah try reversing the polarity... it is always different in cars.
