Finally, old man winter has arrived EDMONTON. It called "ICING ON MY S" Too bad I didn't take a picture before I went clean up the snow on top of my car this morning, it was like a big wedding cake. Temperature for the next few days will be avg 6 F Degree. I have been driving on eco 2 mode using the pivot throttle controller, together with winter tires, it is a killer combo, no drama at all.
Jeff, how's Calgary? I heard you guys were pretty bad as well.........
Kind of curious to see how the S is going to be in our Michigan winters here. Big change since I just bought it to replace our lifted Jeep Wrangler on 33 inch tires.
I hope you didn't drive around with all that stuck to your car...
Hello Canada! snow is here!! I remember i was driving more than that last year. Wait till snowstorm comes (cant wait to blast off the montreal)

You're missing the point.
I asked because all that snow and ice causes a visibility hazard for the driver himself and poses a safety hazard for the person who is driving behind him if some of it were to fly off at highway speeds.

Yes I did...the leftover on my car on that picture are all ice, not loose snow. I already removed whatever I can before I head out to work. Don't you worry about other drivers will get visibility issue from the loose snow or ice on the cars, coz the snow storm itself is already a visibility problem. Being live in Canada, be prepare...haha.
I love my XRS in the snow.
it is almost as fun as my old Mazda 323GTX
I love 323gtx, great full time awd little hot hatch. They are extremely hard to find. My buddy has one but the transfering case gear is damaged. He had it running on 21psi at some point, that's why. Mazda should make the speed 3 like the 323gtx.....then they can stick their feet into subaru turbo awd series, haha.

bang on... best hot hatch ever made IMO...
Super Rare in North America... just like it's brother the 323GTR.
Mine died though after many years of love and fun.
Fulltime AWD Turbo Hatches are the best cars around.

Especially in the Snow!
Speaking of hot hatches, my brother and I bought a 89 suzuki swift GTI a while ago. 1.3L DOHC engine with 100hp, but the car only weights 1700lbs. Superb fun car to drive around, and it is quick. Too bad it is not awd
