What's up everybody, I am a proud new owner of my 10th gen and also first time Toyota owner. I'm a college student double-majoring in international business and business management at Southeastern University in Lakeland, FL. I've been lurking on the site now for a couple weeks and decided to post! I purchased a Black Sand 2010 S and so far all I've done is tinted the windows. We can get away with much down here in sunny Florida, so I wrapped back windows in limo and the front two in 20%. Although it may be illegal in Florida I do have my windshield tinted with 50% just to kill any extra unwanted UV's. I'm a huge fan of the modded yet "oem" look so my next move is suspension. I would love a set of coilovers since the roads down here are extra flat, smooth, and winter-less, but I'm also a "set it and forget it" type of person. I think I've made up my mind to go with the S-tech's and Tokico blues.. Only thing is I've been searching the last 2 weeks for a '10 black S, like mine on my stock rims, with just an S-tech drop. All 10th gen black S's I've seen all have aftermarket rims, I want to see the S-tech drop on stock rims. I have listed a couple pics of the car after I washed and waxed it today.. If no one can find a pic of the drop I'm looking for maybe someone with amazing photoshop skills could put an "S-tech" drop on one of my pics? haha just throwing that out there! Looks like a cool forum, thanks in advance
Nice. How ironic, today I was at a light and there was a Corolla S next to me and another Corolla in front of that one, then a Camry in front of my Camry... 4 Toyotas at the front of the pack!

You made a good decision by choosing black for your S
You will love it to death after you lower it and put more mods together in a nice way; your S will look very sleek I love mine very much!
Thanks for all of the and thanks for that post with the H-techs nice drop! I do want to be lower though I just cant seem to find any pics, let alone good pics, of a black 10th gen dropped on S-techs with stock wheels. Maybe that's a sign, not to do it! .. I think the reason T0rres looks so good on coils and stock wheels is because his car is white, so the contrast lets you see the difference between the fender and how much tire is really showing. I don't think it would look the same on my black vehicle? Another benefit to coils is being able to adjust camber, is that an issue at all with S-techs?

Just a FYI, if you want to go low with the stock wheels than get a good set of spacers to improve the offset. The stock wheels sit too far in & look terrible with a lowered car.

BTW jim q', when you have a low car like that, what offset of wheels is better? Like ex. you have 17"?

The width will have an effect to but I like the stance of my 17x8 wheels with a +35mm offset. If they came in a +30mm offset that would look great too. My winter wheels are 17x7.5 with a +35mm offset & I can tell that they are in a little more than my summer wheels. A high quality set of wheel spacers can solve the issue too.

@superchargedmr2 is there a particular place you guys buy the spacers from? eBay is always a little sketchy to me, I'd rather not buy my car parts from there. so there should be no camber issues? S-techs, kokico blues, alignment, gg?
