How do you perfectly clean the inside of your windshield?

The reason I'm asking is that when it fogs, the inside of the windshield shows plenty of haze and/or smear marks probably caused by not cleaning properly.

Thanks for your inputs!

I use a streakless spray window cleaner and micro fiber cloth. Then I wipe on some dish washing soap and wipe off with a cloth, this is suppose to prevent fogging.

Invisible glass is another good glass cleaner. You also want to make sure that you are using a clean cloth. Normally I use one for the front windsheild, one for the back, and 2 for the side windows. Ive found these glass towels to work really well. If you're still getting streaks or haze, try buffing the glass with a clean, dry microfiber cloth. Some people recommend using a vertical motion on one side of the glass, and a horizontal on the other so you know which side the streaks are on.

Hope this helps!

I would imagine the residue being a PITA to rinse clean.

I use Stoner's Invisible Glass and crumpled newspaper myself. One large paged crumpled up for application and cleaning (doesn't matter how wet it gets) and dry newspaper for removing of the cleaner and any possible streaks.

Sometimes I apply with microfiber, but I don't find it best to prevent streaking so I always remove it with a fresh piece of crumpled newspaper.

I do the exact same thing, any glass cleaner will do but the important part
is the newspaper, it has to be a black and white newspaper not the colored one, the ink works is the one the does the trick polishing.

Not the ink. It's the ammonia in the newspaper.

stoners invisible glass and unprinted newspaper for me. i work for a printing company so i just grab a roll end now and then.

newspaper works well because it absorbs moisture like crazy. handle the stuff for a day and your hands will be chapped to hell. there is nothing special in it, no amonia, no magic ink... in fact the ink is made from vegetables.

this does not work, the whole shaving cream to clean glass is a practical joke. it'll take you forever to get the stuff off.

++ clean hands. Wipe side to side until its dry, then top to bottom when dry. If someone has been smoking, repeat until no streak is apparent or wipe with new paper towel often until paper towel stays white.
