even before i bought my rolla i was pulled between Tc and Rolla, just curious to know what you all think of the 2011 TC, my mum loves my car and said she would love to take it from me and get me the Tc, but after all the mods i done it be hard to let it go even tho i do prefer the TC since its 2 door,

I drove a new 6-speed manual & it was very nice. I prefer the 4 door with my kids but if you are single I could see you wanting the 2 door. Both cars are nice so no loss either way in my view.

hehe spent over 2700$ on mods for my rolla. and i really im starting to hate the shape of it now! love the back but the front is getting to me, only had the car for 6 months, tho i could sell them

lets say i wanted to exchange my car at the dealer for the scion, how does that process work. just in case my mums credit which im sure it is useless, im guessing there be expensive consequences for exchanging?

I don't like the roof line and the windows....remind me of the honda ridgeline truck. In terms of look, I prefer the 10th gen rolla.

I love the looks of my 10th Gen Corolla from all angles.

If you are wanting to trade it you will lose your shirt so be prepared.

also here in florida i only see young mothers driving them so i keep thinking its a chick car, which makes it even worst! i always see young kids like me driving scions or honda civics/ lancers but IV NEVER see any young drivers! been driving for 6 months and i have 16,000miles so i get around alot!

DONT GET ME WRONG I LIKE TO BE UNIQUE!!!

Just look at the ages of so many young Corolla owners on TN.

You may not see them but there are plenty of them around. You can't control if people make a good decision or not on which car to buy.

i know! i wanted the civic but im a first time buyer they offered me 10.9% apr , toyota gave me 0% apr for first time buyer, should have waited for tc but at the time had to get rid of my G35 cause warranty was about to expire and it was giving alot of mechanial problems and infintis are not cheap to repair!

haha i know, im the type of person if i want something i will be uncomfortable until i get it, but yea i guess, ksports coil over in trunk waiting to be installed. maybe it will make me feel better once installed

I had an '06 tC that I replaced with an '07 Civic Si (13 trips to the dealer for transmission problems and it got replaced with a Jeep Wrangler). I was prepared to buy the 2011 tC when I bought my Corolla S this past Thursday. What changed my mind? Ever try to wedge an infant car seat in the back of a 2 door car? Enough said. Banging the car seat off the roll bar everytime I put out little guy in and the fact that it got 12 MPG were the 2 big reasons I got rid of my '06 Wrangler Unlimited and got a new car in the first place.

The driver in me says that the tC is much more exciting to drive, handles better and is faster. The dad in me says I need 4 door practicality. It is not fast but it looks very sporty and for a small car makes a comfortable high speed cruiser on the highway. At 37 I have pretty much given up on the stop light drags.......especially since I am now driving a car with 132 horsepower

awwww, thats one of the 1000000s of reason i plan not to have kids! they ruin your life! maybe when im 40 and the mother will raise them in a separate house couple hundreds of miles away, then until they are mature enough to shut the hell up and listen to me il accept the role of being a dad

i duno about ruining your life... but they do take some fun out of driving the car you want....

i like the 1st gen tc more than the 2nd gen... but my dad would never let me get a 2 door... too impractical because i always have 2 or more passengers in my car most of the time...
but if i were to get a tc.. it would be the 1st gen.. i like its shape more

That is the same way I felt in my teens, twenties and early thirties. Then I looked at my wife and thought if we combined the craziness from her family with the craziness from my family we could create a hybrid demon offspring that one day may rule the world so we went for it. He is 5 months old, he hasn't acheived world domination yet but he has mastered cute. When he is old enough to crawl into the back of the car by himself I will buy something sportier and use the Corolla as a DD.
