It's been a fantastic car, and despite me being a retardedly picky owner, and getting a thousand things fixed under warranty that nobody else would care about, It still never had it let me down. It is a fantastic car, but there were always a few things I wanted it to have.
From day one I wanted factory bluetooth, JBL, leather and the electrochromatic auto-dimming mirror. None were available in Canada in 2009, I almost traded in my 2009 XRS for a 2010 XRS (some of you may remember the thread), but ultimately it was going to cost me a lot to basically have the same car plus factory leather.
Over the past few years I've had the car, I've been in other cars and realized that I'm not even all that attached to leather, in fact I now think that it was a good thing I didn't get the 2010 I wanted.
But all these other things, as well as some other niceties can all be found in a car that is almost the same size, but cooler in so many ways: The Lexus IS250.
So there you have it, I have ordered myself a black 2011 Lexus IS250 6MT with black cloth interior.
So, I'll probably still be in and around this forum every now and then, but I may not be here as much once the XRS goes bye bye. Not sure exactly when I'll get the IS250, but probably in a couple weeks. Pics to come I suppose.
So it's been a nice run, glad to help some of you out with answers and information. Enjoy your Corollas!
NICE UPGRADE!!! if you don't come back very so often, please update with pics in the forum so we can all enjoy seeing your new luxurious whip!
Thanks for helping me out when I first got my XRS, I really do appreciate it!!!
sad to see an XRS owner leave, but there are better cars like IS250 with 6speed. RWD or AWD?
Congrats on your new car, those things are gorgeous.
But we'll definitely miss your expertise/opinions on the forums. =/
Best of luck on your new purchase though
