Jack attachment for rear end

sry if this is a repost, there were no search results for the term "jack attachment." i bought a torin 2 ton floor jack so i could start doing things myself. went to dealer just for fluid checks and rotate the tires and it took 3 hours. i'm pretty sure i could do it faster. i see in the manual that the jack can go in direct contact with the front jack site, but for the back there's an adapter in the trunk. i can't get the adapter to fit in my torin jack. in the manual, it should look like this

where the attachment fits inside the cup. but my torin jack "cup" is smaller than the attachment, but not small enough where it fits inside the attachment. anyone have this problem? would just putting a small object like a tiny cube of wood in between the cub and the adapter work out ok?

on another note, i got hit by a hit and run driver who ran a red light a few months ago. saw some leaking and took it to the local mechanic who thought it was transmission fluid. went back to GEICO sponsored repair shop twice to get a seal fixed. went to dealer today and i asked them to check for transmission fluid leak. they said there was but didn't show me. i did spray some anti rust lube and it was snowing today too. i wonder if they were mistaken, were right, or were lying just to get more money out of me. i haven't seen any leaking in my parking space. i would've thought if they weren't lying that they could easily tell the red/violet color of the fluid from just oily dirt/snow. was trying to check under my car with the floor jack but was hard to do while it was snowing and windy. might end up going to the repair shop again but if they keep missing the leak i don't want to go back there even if tere's a lifetime warranty for their repairs

I used it in my hydraulic jack before...it sat in there but was lose, i only used it to install the rear sway bar...to rotate the tire i put the hydraulic jack behind the wheel or use the jack that came with the car n put it on the jack point

i've used that lil cap thing about once. i tried it, and the car didn't feel stable on the jack with it on so I just took it off. Now i just use my jack without it.

+1

I just use the jack directly on the place where the attachment is designed to go, works just fine.
