I am looking to purchase a DVD/GPS for a Corolla LE 2010. I have seen some reviews for Eonon 1055, but the model is out of stock right now. I been looking at this one on ebay and would like your opinions http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ES706...fAudioQ5fVideo
I would like to know if this is a plug and play or will i need rewiring
That looks like a great deal. How can you go wrong for only $305 with free shipping? You should grab it & let us know what you think of it.

Just be advised that there is a "gps" button on both button columns. All these gps systems seem to be the same with only varying button placement.. have duplicate buttons seemed a little tacky to me, esp since there are better looking (aesthetic only) systems for about $10 more. I just bought one too, I'll try to post a thorough review on it if I have time, altho plenty has been posted on here as well as youtube
^^ +1..i showed my friend this and hes telling me to get one too lol...but im gonna wait till after the holidays cuz i have mini vacations planned throughout winter break n dont wanna spend all my cash..take the leap n let us noe how good it is lol

Will you do the install yourself? If so, does one need any type of adapter harness for the install, or it's all included with the purchase? Also, will this unit improve the overall quality of the sound considering the stock speakers of my LE? - How about the GPS maps? Will they need update with paid service/software?

Thanks
I have a similar unit installed in early summer. Wiring harness is supplied and is straight forward plug and play. Easy install.
Sound with OEM speakers are much, much improved.

Thanks cabur. Did you buy your unit from the same seller? - How about the GPS? How does that work?
That's great to know of the improvement with the oem speakers. I'll be getting this or another HU that looks oem and easy install with enough quality to at least closely match the brand names like JVC or Pioneer.

I got it off ebay too from a different seller. Like it's been said before the overall look is about the same, graphics and buttons placement are different. Always suspects it all came from one manufacturer in China.
You can do a search on "Alibaba" or "Light in the box". There are quite a lot of sellers.
I use Paypal and they give me some buyer protection. Be prepare to write it off if your unit does not work. Sending it back cost a lot of moolah.
The GPS is not the greatest. Maps that came with it is only so so.
