Is it True that Toyota didn't make any Manual XRS for 2010?

I just called my dealer to ask
if they could get me a new 2010 Corolla
XRS manual and they call me back and told me that
Toyota did not make any 2010 XRS manual, that they made them all Auto, and i know that a dealer near me has a 2 2010 XRS advertise as manual,

i would say more then half the people in this forum who own a 2009/2010 XRS have it in manual transmission

That's exactly what a think, i know for sure that there are 2009 manual XRS
but i have not seen any 2010 xrs manual.

So, they do not know what they are talking about.
They do make the 2010 in manual. A dealer told me that they do not make the side visor guard for the XRS let alone the Corolla model.
They do, I have them on my XRS.
If a dealer tell you that, stay the F*** away...

they do make manual speed for 2010 im looking at one now 12/10/2010 online to confirm, but i think you might have to order one.

Its almost 2011 so they wont carry 2010 unless they have been sitting on the lot cause they cant sell or back like in 2010 when I bought my 09 they had a rental car company cancel their contract so they had 10 sittin in the lot. 2011 are out and thats all thats going to be showing up.. Unless you order brand new in that case I dunno if you can still order the 2010's..

and the dealer i called said that they had called and check on the dealers website
and they told me that the dealer had probably made a mistake in the description,
the dealer that has the 2 XRS manual is not that far from me so i will probably give them a call.

the toyota website says that there was a 5spd XRS for 2010.

if toyota was still building them, thats another question.

Well I can tell you for sure that Toyota did indeed make a 2010 Toyota Corolla xrs in manual transmission, because I own one.

different regions get different inventory. not every region gets the manual xrs, i know some dealers over here dont get the 2010 xrs in manual. maybe each dealer is in diff regions somehow?

Toyota built the XRS in 2010 with manual transmissions. Does that mean every region sold them? Nope.

This sounds reasonable.

I would assume they would have a 2010 manual Xrs, I would see no point in dropping the manual transmission for the 'performance' version of the Corolla...

Good luck finding one. Too late to build or special order one at this point, since 2011s are ready to drop in the dealers next month.
