Warranty

Hey there,
Iv been trying to get a hold of toyota Canada, but cant seem to get through,

I was wondering if any one could help answer this question for me.
I am leasing a 2009 Corolla and want to Put a sound system in it ( Sub woofer, amplifier, and head unit). By doing this, would it effect my warranty?

For the 90 quadrillionth time posted on this sub-forum...

For ANY mod: If whatever you do is proved to be THE REASON that caused whatever the problem is, yes. Otherwise, no.

IE you drop your car on coilovers/springs... that cannot void your warranty if the AC screws up. It can however void the warranty if your struts go out DUE TO the springs/coilovers

*Be sure to run a search to find answers to any question first

Canada

to TN Corhola11 !!

Do you plan to buy out at lease end? If not, I would ask the dealership you are leasing from as well, there might be some particulars that are local to them... & remember that usually you would have to remove any mod you made at time of lease bring back, so keep that in mind as well.

If your planning on speakers, ur warranty would voided for the speakers. Like the above say, if ur strut is busted due to spring u must remove the aftermarket one before bringing it to the dealer. So the same goes for u
