Make sure you get an epic mullet to go with it. Just kidding.
I grew up on Detroit muscle (in the Detroit area) and my first car was a big block Cutlass. I got into imports in the late 80's. I am still keeping my eye out for a 68 Charger, a 69 Cougar and a WWII era Willys. Have fun with the new toy Remember, a true car guy can appreciate almost any and all cars.

It does need a good amount of money... but not as much as you would think. Im thinking around 2,000 to 2,500 will get it looking pretty nice, without going overboard frame-off. (I used to do body work before i started working on F18s so I have a pretty accurate guess)
Id Be happy to keep you guys posted if your interested, even though this is a toyota forum.

It might sound strange, but I'm pining after a 1989 maxda mx6 GT. Had an 88 and miss it now. I want the one with 4 wheel steering, and only the 89 had it in the US.
Will definitely be a money pit. I have an s10 Blazer with a v8 swap. Shit constantly breaks and wears out, and there is always work that needs done. Post some pics

Here is my money pit....
Maybe we should start a seperate thread for all the 10th geners second cars. It will be interesting to see where our money goes when its not to bills or our corollas
