i have a 2009 corolla and i'm starting to mod my car but i have yet found a performance store with great value and items. I live in Los Angeles if any one has any recommendations of any locations please let me know thanks!

There used to be a store called ToySport but that was years ago. I used to go there every time I was in LA but I'm not sure if they are still open.

I would say check Advance Speed Shop (Temple City), since they are on several Toyota boards and are interested in helping Corolla owners. Basically, the limited aftermarket parts available for our cars can be pretty much ordered by any shop online that carries the line (Tein, K&N, Borla, Eibach, Takeda, Injen, etc.), and you are likely not to pay sales tax if it is out of state. However, most of these sellers all reside in California, since this is where most of them are based.

Regarding Toysport, they don't have a retail store anymore (I bought some springs for my old RAV4 from them for cheap). Even if they did, they probably wouldn't be the best price. It was nice of them to be exclusively Toyota, but in these times, there's way too much competition online for many of the smaller speed shops to survive, as there used to be a lot of stores back in the 90s when the Import Scene started here in So Cal.

go to one of your local rite aid store. at the magazine section pick up one of those automobile magazines. in there you will read and find a ton of performance shops and stores in socal specifically los angeles.
