I would say it would be cheaper & easier to just sell your car & buy a manual.

Of course anything is possible with a lot of money...right now its not that practical to do a transmission swap. unless you can find a manual corolla that has been crashed and buy that one and all the components needed either from that crashed car or from the dealer and any other necessary places Im sure the install would be very difficult to. (just thinking about the mount and functionality of the clutch pedal that has to be added and also the new brake pedal as its too wide to be 1 of 3 down there. I know what you mean with wanting a manual....trust me, everyone on here will tell you how much I want one. But I too got a auto one day I might consider a manual swap but thats faaaaaaaaaaaaaar into the future when I have other cars and this would be my modified daily driver haha. (oh and Im waiting for my extended warranty to end as well)
Im sure other members with more mechanical knowledge can further the explanation.

It can be done but is so cost prohibitive that you are better off to trade it in or sell it and buy a manual.

In addition to the obvious which is the transmission you need clutch pedal assembly, clutch disc, pressure plate, throwout bearing, flywheel as the manual is different than the auto on most cars, transmission mounts, clutch master cylinder, assorted lines for fluids, possibly a new ECU/ECM and several other bits and pieces that are too many to list here. Depending on where you get everything you are looking in the ballpark of $4000-$9000 not including labor to actually do the work. That is a lot of money to put into a car with nothing to show for it other than a shifter that moves East and West as well as North and South.

If you want a manual that bad, sell it and buy a 5 speed or take the many thousands of dollars you would put into changing it over and buy a second car that is a stick.

that works also, but just trade it in and get a manual, save yourself the hassle because its still a new car basicly.

this is what I'm going to do since I didnt get a 5spd on my 10th gen..since we are going to sell our silverado for something that wont break down, we are going to get a older Toyota (we only want to spend what we get for the truck or maybe a little more if its worth it) I found many 8th gens with 5spds and they are about $3-4k w/decent miles..I would just do that instead of converting my car one day
