I am thinking of buying a Corolla because of its great fuel economy, but I find the interior to be lack-luster when compared to say a similarly priced Honda Accord.
One of the things that would seal the deal on the Corolla is what I think is "Automatic Climate Control". Its the climate controls without knobs and with digital buttons to adjust the temperature.
Is this the standard LE interior without the knob based climate control?
And is this the non knob based climate control up close?
According to the e-brochure (still listed as 2010) the auto climate control is listed as standard equipment on the CDN LE, and from what I have seen looks like the one in the pic.

Just thinking out loud as I am sure you don't have the answer. I am curious if the auto climate control wiring harness is the same as the standard climate control US wiring harness. Been kicking around the idea of trying it in my 2010 S just for something different if I can get my hands on one of these units.
The only reason I ask is here is a photo of a 2010 LE and the supposedly standard automatic climate control is no where to be seen. Also here on the Toyota USA site using the online configuration and choosing LE then going next and onto interior dashboard photos its still the knob style of climate control. Very puzzling.

The automatic climate control was available only on the XLE for 2010 model year. Obviously, that grade and the XRS were discontinued for the US Market for 2011.
For you guys up north, the LE offers it in the Premium Package.

To answer your question, I'm assuming no according to Jeff's response. He said it was offered, meaning it was a option.
I have the Canadian LE. auto, Comes with 16" Alloy wheels, dash trims, fog lights, variable ntermittent wiper, smart key, (extremely useful now that I'm familiar and trust it.) auto climate, digital dash as op's pict. sliding centre arm rest top. 2 level centre storage, all standard.
Only option when I got mine was sunroof which I did'nt want.
An Accord will cost you quite a bit more than a Corolla.

I've always been curious as to why the Canadian Corollas are a hundred times better than the US Corollas. Ours can barely compete with a base Civic as it is....and now that the XRS and XLE trims have been cut, there's no option for a bigger motor or automatic climate control anymore. And none of them came with a power driver's seat or smart key, ever.
