10th gen xrs...going boost?? i got what you need

$500 OBO

Hey if anybody is interested, i'm selling my aem fic with the boomslang pnp harness for our 10th gen xrs (2azfe motor...xrs only). Come with the unit, harness, usb cable, and all the software needed to use this unit, also includes my awesome tune and about 20 others, from scionlife, dezod, and some members. you can see the unit instaled in my car in this pic right where the fuse box is in the engine bay and the pic of what the unit is.

wow any problems with the warranty lol, seriously by going turbo on your 2az, does toyota still warranty your car or only the powertrain isnt?

and is it viable to go turbo on a xrs(got one) i was thinking about it alot but dont want to scrap my warranty....
and did you buy a turbo kit on ebay? how much you spent(parts only) on this set up

i'm pretty sure if you turbo your car, it will void your warranty, but i never checked, but i wouldnt expect them to honor the warranty if you modified the engine and electronics, and i bought the turbo kit on ebay because i wanted the manifold, intercooler, and piping, which worked out great for me but i recommend one of the turbo kits from dezod.com

they wont honor your powertrain. might also not honor anything else unless its a service bulletin or recall.

I wouldn't even take my car in for a service at the dealership if i was to turbo it. Might get one of those retarded service guys to try and take it for a joy ride.....

They can't void your warranty any more than they could for adding an exhaust and intake. They would have to PROVE that whatever went wrong with the car was directly related to the turbo (or whatever aftermarket part you have). However you would have some jackass taking your car for a joy ride every time you take it in for service lol.

so you actually said ebay pippings......HMM!!!! THATS smart idea... instead of going custom, ebay got your back. Hows the pipping holding up? did you buy it for the tc, xb2 or the xrs on ebay?

i bought it for the tc and it was a perfect fit. and it's aluminum too so it's really light weight. and it had the blow off valve flange already welded on there so that's one less step i had to do

it works for me and everyone is using aem fic or the greddy blue. but everyone seems to like the aem fic better, of course those are just piggy backs, which are better if you just want to have a boosted car. but if you want an all race car and you want to make power, then i would go with aem ems or apr x1
