Drivers door cable bundle removal - Toyota Nation Forum : Toyota Car and Truck Forums

Quick question. Ive taken the drivers door off and the only problem I've having getting it off the car is the wire bundle that won't come unclipped. I tried pressing what I thought was the release tab on the white connector, but it won't budge. Thanks in advance.

This connector is a tricky one for sure. If I remember correctly, you have to press the tab and slide the connector out. There is a collar on the top of this connector. You've got to press the tab, slide the collar back (away from the plug), and then the clip will come out. The collar is rectangle in shape.

I know this doesnt do much good without pics, but it's all I can do for now.
