Looks like the 2011 Matrix can still have the 2.4 engine in it.....but they axed it out of the 2011 Corolla.

The 2.4L in the Matrix is for AWD models, if you could get an AWD Corolla it would have the 2.4L.

My point was that the Matrix still has the option. There wasn't an AWD Corolla in the last couple years but they offered a 2.4....why axe it now when it needs the power so bad? lol

I agree....a boosted AWD Corolla would be bad ass!
