We got around 12" of snow a week ago, when entering a parking lot from a main road I had to drive through a snow bank that one of the plows had created.
I made it through the bank, but in the process cracked the lower lip of the bumper cover and lost some of those underbody plastic pieces... and snapped some others loose. I hit it pretty hard and the bank was pretty well compacted.
I am wondering if anyone has had any experience identifying these parts? I need to order them and reinstall them. I am missing a couple pieces, but I can't be sure of what they are because... well they are missing. I went back to try to locate them but no luck.
I know I am missing the piece that connects to the bumper cover and runs back to the framing, looks to run the fill width of the car and ties back to the frame. Not sure if it is one piece or a couple. Also missing a lot of the fasteners that hold the plastic pieces to the framing. I am waiting for the snow to melt so I can jack up car and get pics. In the meantime any help would be greatly appreciated!
Only the XRS has an undercover from the bumper to the lower radiator support. Std/CE/LE/XLE/S do not have it, you have an LE if I am not mistaken, so your car shouldn't have one there.
There are a couple further back, on each side of the car. If you want I can email you the diagrams showing what is under there and you can check what you have?
It sounds to me like you probably just broke a few clips and need to replace them.
Hey folks - following up on this thread here. I found the following bumper cover and the price seems too low - wondering if you guys had any input on this?

More like desperate now. Insurance wanted $500 deductible for a part that's $200. So I said what the hell. Plus their customer service was pretty good. Spoke with a rep and answered all my questions. Just hope the product is decent quality.
