Talking Finally

I finally pulled the trigger and ordered some Eibach's. I also ordered the film for the red out tails. As soon as I get the springs on and measure how much my wheels need to come out I will order the spacers. I haven't posted any pics of my car but as soon as everything is done I will post before and after pics......hopefully in the next two weeks..

My springs will be in soon, I was sitting around this weekend and thought I start some modding . I was able to get this done and I also debadged the rear (No pics of that though).

Great job. As far as I know, your the first to paint the headlight housing for a 10thGen.

You took the housing apart apart? How did you manage to take it apart and re-seal it?

edit: great job...I'm jealous

I baked it for about 10 min at a time 2-3 times at 265 deg. This softens the glue and makes it manageable to pull apart. Of course you have to take off the screws that secure it. After you pull it apart the reflective housing and the front part are two separate pieces. There are two more screws that need to be taken off. The front part of the housing is now free and ready to be painted. I used krylon ultra flat black camo. Just reheat it and it"ll seal just fine there is plenty oh glue on there.

I received some goods today..

Hopefully in the next day or two I'll have some time to do the install. If not it'll have to wait until the weekend.
