Hi, mi wife called me from store. The carolla she got from her dad was in "lock down" mode. Unlike my FJ Cruiser, which has a button to push, on her key chain is a plastic thing that looks like something you would use to get into an office building. Before he died, her dad told her to "line it up" with something. We don't know what? She finally got it started, 'don't know how? Any help on how we can avoid this again? Thanks, Crooza Dood

Sounds like an aftermarket immobilizer system perhaps, definitely does not sound stock.

Weird that someone would put one in a 2010 though, since they have a factory immobilizer system.
