Alignment Question

Have any of you guys gotten an alignment at a non-Toyota place... I ask because TSB 0020-08 states that after a wheel alignment is performed, to "Perform the applicable zero point calibration of the yaw rate sensor and/or the steering angle sensor." (Which takes the Toyota TechStream interface)

If I don't have a zero-point cal done (such as, a non-Toyota dealer alignment), what could the effects be?

When you call to schedule an alignment ask if they have the tools to do such a calibration.

Those sensors tell the ecu when to apply certain preventive crash systems like traction control, abs, air bags, etc.

I have my alignments done at a random shop that does a lot of local track cars simply because A. I want custom specs and B. because I have to remove my bumper just to get on a low rack, forget about Toyota's normal height racks. I've never had sensors or anything zeroed to my knowledge and I can't imagine an evenly done alignment without zeroing either sensor would disturb anything to the point of premature activation or failure. ...I'm not an expert tho.
