Hey there. Pulled out my Trunk Liner and noticed the carpet part tears right off the plastic piece. Ended up having to put the plastic part in then lay the carpet on top. Anyone else noticed this. Mine's not even fastened. Very cheap.
Yeah, I need pictures to fully understand this lol...
I have a nice cargo mat that came with the car(maybe its an upgrade?) and then under that is a black piece of corrugated plastic with a thin carpeting on one side. If that thin carpeting is what youre referring to coming up, just spray some 3M adhesive on the coro and press the carpet back on.
Constant movement of something against that most likely loosened the adhesive bond between the coro and carpet.

The carpet mat you have doesn't come with all of them. It's a dealer/port option.

I just really hate the regular plastic spare cover in my corolla CE. It's now all wavy and it moves around and it even rubbed my paint off to bare metal. After getting the service manager involved at the dealership to hear it was not covered under any warranty I was suprised by Toyota's quality. It's my 1st Toyota and I'm not sure if I would buy again.
