I need pricing info for Corolla LE 2010 vs 2011 please.

I need to get a Corolla LE no option by this Friday 02/25/2011. My dealer price 2010 and 2011 as follows:

-2010 Corolla LE $14,165 plus 0% APR or $13,415 (cash back rebate included)
-2011 Corolla LE $16,451
The additional charges to the prices above are taxes, tags, $389 processing fee and $750 shipping/handling fee.

What do you think? Fair price?

What do you pay for your 2010 or 2011 Corollra LE (no option added)?

Thank you for your help.

Paul

The only way to compare prices from dealer to dealer is to get them to quote an "out the door" cash price based on vehicles with identical MSRPs. The $13,415 seems good until you add in the BS $750 shipping fee and the outrageous $389 processing fee. Adding those two fees in brings you up to $14,554, which isn't bad, but you can probably do several hundred better, assuming the LE you were pricing out had an MSRP of about $18,060.

There's no way anyone can tell you if that's a good price because you didn't tell us the MSRP of the specific vehicle you are pricing out. There are options you can add or subtract on an LE that will have a significant effect on the MSRP. What dealer are you dealing with, Alexandria Toyota? If so, give Leo Bouchard at Darcars in Silver Spring MD a call. Tell him Ron who bought a blue streak LE off of him last Friday sent you. He had the lowest price of any dealer in a 150 mile radius on the LE I bought. The transaction was smooth with no BS or hidden fees. Getting "out the door" quotes on an LE with a specific MSRP from many dealers simultaneously via the internet is a great time and BS saver. Good luck.

As I said, no dealer option. Just whatever comes from the factory as standard equipment on the Corolla LE.

Springfield Toyota dealer quoted the 2010 Corolla LE (no dealer option whatsoever)... just standard equip listed in the factory website...

$14,165 plus
$637 Va Tax
$389 processing fee
$750 shipping/handling fee.
$99 Tag
------------------
Out of the door price is $16040.25

He also quoted the 2011 Corolla LE (no dealer option whatsoever)... just standard equip listed in the factory website...

$16,451 plus
$740.30 Va Tax
$389 processing fee
$750 shipping/handling fee.
$99 Tag
------------------
Out of the door price is $18429.29

Sound a little steep to me though.

I agree you can do a little better.

The 2010 LE I bought on Friday had option CK, (the All Weather Guard Package which includes a heavy duty heater, and heated mirrors among other things), option QA which includes cruise control and remote keyless entry and option CF which is floor mats and trunk mat.

With everything included, out the door, I was at $15,500. This included both a Maryland 60 Day temporary tag, the PA registration, and of course 6% PA sales tax, all paperwork fees, and the processing and handling fee (which is already included in the sticker price BTW)

So you can use that for comparason purposes. I drove 120 miles for this deal at Darcars in Silver Spring MD and they are relatively close to you. Springfield's quote to me was about $600 higher on the same vehicle.

I did not quote a 2011 anywhere, so I can't help with that.

I hope this information helps in your decision making process.

Spot on advice here. The BS saver is key...knowledge is power...and telling THEM where they need to be is a pretty big stick.
