Unexpected snow morning here in NH...
I wake up to a phone csll from my girlfriend letting me know the weather was bad and to be careful. I look out my window and its not that bad. So I am heading to work and the brilliant guy in front of me decides to take a turn too fast, hits a snow bank, and bounces back out in front of me...
Well I will let the pictures tell the rest of the story. I have two more. One from another angle and one of the frame a little twisted up. Its worse than it looks in the picture, but definitely not bad. Easily about 2,000+ in repairs. Hopefully the frames okay. Theres damage all down the right side. Doors a little dented with a nice scratch. Rockers a little scuffed. I doubt its totaled, but depending on the frame damage if any,it is a definite possibility.

Sorry to hear about this man...did you catch that brilliant guy right away? He/his insurance should be totally responsible for the damage
I'm happy that you weren't hurt. It will be interesting to see what the insurance companies say since you were following him. They may try to say that you were following too close for conditions since you couldn't stop in time when he took the turn too fast. I've seen insurance companies make this argument for anyone following that hits the car in front of them. Good luck for sure.

If they do fix it make sure to check all of your available options for reimbursement. Some states allow you to collect a depreciation of the car since it has now been listed as in an accident and will be valued less at trade in.

This is very right.
I missed/overlooked the fact that he's in front of you OP

Well one thing is that he was at the bottom of a hill. An officer came and said that it was his fault. there was also a girl that came and bumped him after me and he told her the same thing. Only problem is he has no insurance. Seriously? Who drives uninsured. Luckily for me is have USAA and they will take care of me. Most likely very little cash out of pocket it any.

Went out for a closer look this morning. When I hit the car I bounced off and it ran all down the side of the car. One will almost definitely need a skin. The other May just need paint, not sure yet. But It also got a bit of the quarter, hopefully just a buffing job. Its looking a little more possible theyll junk it, yet still pretty unlikely. All depends on how the frame looks.

gah! i was hoping the guy has insurance when i reading, glad your A-okay!
I'm always worried about people hitting me when I'm up in Nashua.
hope your insurance say its that guy's fault
The officer who came down said it was his fault. But its really up to the insurance company to make a decision i guess.

Seems like the world is out to get TN members. There's been about 5 accidents, someones foglights both cracked, a tear in someones seat, and there's probably more I'm forgetting. Maybe I should lock my baby up until we figure this thing out
