USA Can I add keyless feature to my 09 corolla le

Hi,

I bought 2009 corolla le with anti-theft but NO keyless entry. I wonder if I can just buy a remote key from ebay or somewhere and program it to my car without any other installation?

Thanks,

I saw a lot uncut remote key on ebay and amazon, and there is also way to program posted on website. So I'm sure that will work for those who has this system on car and want to have a spare key. However I have never seen a condition like mine. So just wonder.

My 09 corolla does not have power locks. A key fob won't do much if you don't have power lock actuators installed in each door. When you use the key to unlock the driver door, does it unlock all 4 doors? If it doesnt, you will have to have a power lock kit installed. I was quoted 400 installed with remote entry. I still can't believe Toyota would make this optional. There are some kits on eBay too if your interested in trying it yourself.

I have power door lock, does that mean I can only buy a key fob and it'll work?

Don't think so. Key fob is a transmitter. Your car must have a receiver to receive the transmission from it to activate the lock.

yes you can

but you have to buy "auto security system " like INWELLS (made in china) for 80$ and disable all the inputs coming from the system sensers and connect the output to turining signals and door locks through the harness beside the driver side. just like what i did to my car

or check these new products thay might be more helpfull
