So my grandmom called me the other day and told me she went to the post office. She then told me that while she was there she some how managed to hit a curb. I am not sure the full details of the story or what happened. But she asked me what I could do to clean it up. I have some spare paint I can use to paint it but is there anything else I should do before that? Sand it? Prime it? Here are some pictures...
Your gonna have to prep it before you can start painting it.
I don't see how that damage relates to hitting a curb. Some of the damage is on the upper angled portion of the lip. As for the bottom, looks like she parked and scraped it on the curb or tire stop.

Why would your grandmother be driving your Corolla? Doesn't she have her own car? My wife doesn't want to drive my Corolla or MR2 for fear of something like this happening. She will just stick to driving the Prius, Matrix or Previa.

Is your car on coilovers? it looks pretty low XD Mine is and i scrap everyday getting out of the school garage... theres a huge dip and no matter how slow i go and how i angle it i scrape the front lip and the exhaust
