CarID

Just wanted your guys opinions on this site and these kits..

I've been contemplating getting the 45 peice dash kit and the exterior trim kit for my car..

Just wondered what you guys thought of this mod, this company and the prices?

Can I get it cheaper here? Or is it gay and not even worth doing?

Answer this why do you want to spend $200 on trim?

Honestly this add on does nothing and looks tacky to me.. But to each their own...

what they sell on that site are just stick on simulated pieces. after a year or two they just peel off and makes everything ugly. they are just like stickers that wear off in time.

I will tell you that the people who get the carbon fiber dash kits like CarID sells love them.

Besides that, I'd probably leave them alone personally. It's just not my taste lol.

Yea I was gonna get the carbon fibre ones..

Only reason I asked here was cause I was all set to order them, then I realized it was not replacement trim it was stick on trim... So durability became my concern..

I like the way it looks but would rather if it was replacement pieces rather then stick on over top pieces.

to me those stick on kits don't look that great. they look stuck on. i personally would just get the piece wrapped in real carbon fiber. or at the least some nice faux cf vinyl like the 3m di-noc.

Why not?

I think it adds class to the interior, I've had plenty of compliments from those that rode in my Corolla and they were asking if it came stock like that.

If you clean the surface correctly, apply it as is in the directions, you shouldn't be worrying about it 'wearing off'. Its held on by the same 3M tape that holds my roof spoiler on thats exposed to the elements.

Each to their own

I like their version of the Real CF with the resin coating. IMO you couldn't even tell that it was pretty much a sticker.
