Unhappy Another one bites the dust

happened this morning. not sure if its going to be repaired or write-off. my guess is it might be a write-off. I am fine for the most part, hurt my knees on impact. have some right elbow pain and stuff too, going to the doc tomorrow to get checked out. I was going straight, this white gmc yukon didnt see me and decided to take a quick left, by that time i was already at the intersection, slammed my brakes, too late. but i wasant going that fast to begin with, mayb 40 tops, by the time i braked maybe 30km/hr. cops already said its the other guys fault so my insurance will be dealing with all that.

my first accident since i've had my license and in my first brand new car. Still shaken up about what happened.

and the white yukon.

Ouch Sorry to hear.. Get well soon..

On a side note I almost got in one this morning aswell.. Driver ran a late yellow.. Since I was turning left, Luckily Im very sketchy about left turns to I took my time and just braked in time.

I noticed your already parting stuff out.

Holy crap...That's pretty bad... I hope you feel better physically and mentally cuz it is pretty traumatic when you get into an accident. Good thing they know it's the other guys fault!. RIP 'Rolla. Sorry for your loss man.

^^ i've had that stuff listed for sale for a while now, a few months, the wheels are already gone, i still have the rest.

and yea i was sketchy of the intersection, cause there was a big 18 wheeler making a left turn going in the same direction as me, which blocked my view and the yukon's view of me, so idk it could have been avoided if he didnt gun it and just waited till the light turned yellow or red.

I am 90% sure it will be a write off....the frame is badly damage, not to mention alot of hidden damages, his suspension and the strut tower are cracked. How do I know that much by looking at the pictures....just becoz I am his buddy in town...haha.

The damages are gonna be more than 12K....remember parts are more expensive in Canada.

Damn man, that's insane. I'm sorry to see it, but the important part really is that you're okay.

Besides, those new Scion tC's are bitchin'.

HOLY SMOKES!!! I'm glad you're ok other than the seemingly minor aches and pains you described. Just wow.

thanks everyone. I should be ok in a few days lol, thankfully i've got an awesome gf and friends for support. i'll probably start looking at a new car again next week or so.

that other guy, motto i think from edmonton, his car was rear ended wasant it and it was a write off so i think its safe to assume mine should be as well.

idk will wait and see what happens. i need to get some sleep for now.
